On 19 September 2024, our Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) C504 was successfully launched at GONDAN Shipbuilders in Spain. As the last in a series of six sister vessels, this launch represents a significant achievement for both GONDAN and Edda Wind.
C504 is a purpose built CSOV prepared for emission free operations with a hydrogen-based propulsion system based on the Liquid Organic Hydrogen carrier (LOHC) concept. This state-of-the-art vessel will perform commissioning and maintenance work on offshore wind turbines.
With a length of 88.3 meters and the ability to accommodate 120 persons, C504 is equipped for the future of sustainable energy.
