Edda Wind is pleased to announce the appointment of Stig Morten Helland as Chief Executive Officer, effective 29 September 2025.
Stig Morten brings with him a wealth of experience from the shipping and offshore industries, having held senior leadership roles at both Teekay Offshore (now Altera Infrastructure) and OSM Maritime Group (now OSM Thome). His strategic mindset , people-oriented leadership style, and commitment to sustainable innovation make him exceptionally well-suited to lead Edda Wind through its next phase of growth.
The appointment follows a recruitment process, during which Hermann H. Øverlie, Chief Financial Officer, served as interim CEO while also maintaining his CFO responsibilities. Geir Flæsen, Chair of the Board at Edda Wind, expressed his appreciation:

Stig Morten Helland assumes the CEO position at a pivotal time for Edda Wind, as the company continues to expand its fleet and reinforce its commitment to providing advanced, purpose-built offshore wind service vessels.
