EDDA BOREAS has commenced the contract with Doggerbank Offshore Wind Farm and will enable commissioning operations at the world’s largest offshore wind farm for the next two years. Edda Boreas, which can accommodate up to 95 offshore wind technicians at any time, will be an essential tool for the commissioning of the wind farm. It will enable year-round operations in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that installation targets for the wind farm will be reached.
Following this delivery, Edda Wind now has five vessels in operation, with another nine vessels yet to come.
